Gender Balance Sheet 2022

Unimore is at the third edition of the Gender Balance, which analyses the final balance 2022 in this perspec-
tive. The Glass Ceiling Index - GCI of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, the summary indicator of
the difficulty for women to reach top management roles, is equal to 1.47, lower than the national GCI which
stands at 1.57. In accordance with the CRUI’s “Gender Balance Sheet Guidelines”, the final 2022 Gender
Balance Sheet contains a context analysis that focuses on the different areas of the University from a gender
perspective: students, technical-administrative staff and researcher-teaching staff and contains a summary
of the activities carried out on gender equality by the University in 2022. It reports the progress of some ac-
tions of the 2022-2024 Gender Equality Plan that allow our Athenaeum to advance in the goal of achieving
gender equality. In line with the actions envisaged in the Gender Equality Plan during 2022, training pro-
grammes on didactics in a gender perspective and inclusive teaching methodologies have been scheduled
and multiple awareness-raising activities implemented. Activities that will be intensified in 2024.
